When we started Standard, we set out to reimagine what a machine shop could be. Serving customers in an environment that used lean manufacturing principles as our guide to deliver world class components.
In the fall of 2012, we opened in a garage sized shop consisting of only the basics. The shop was small, forcing us to be organized and efficient with time and resources. We didn’t realize it at the time, but that small shop set the tone for who we are today.
